Motion Studies (2018–present) is an ongoing series based on German gymnast photography from the 1920s to the 1940s. It examines how a shared visual language, once appropriated by the Nazi regime as a metaphor of power, continues to shape collective ways of seeing, and how acts of re-narration expose the relationship between visual perception and interpretation.
