The artist duo Leonid Keller (Julia Ossko and Eugen Schulz) examines how the vast world of images—spanning both historical archives and contemporary visuals—shapes our sense of identity and our place within society. They explore how the way we organize and view images can either reinforce or challenge social power structures.
By removing visual fragments from their original contexts and reassembling them into multidisciplinary installations, they create "spaces of possibility." These spatial arrangements disrupt the linearity of conventional readings, countering the dominance of singular perspectives with a radical plurality of interpretation.
Leonid Keller’s work incorporates various media, such as collage, drawing, sculpture, screenprinting, photography, and video.
