You Are the Artist is a reaction to a widely spread cult of contemporary art exhibitions. It examines the balance between an artwork and the self-presentation of the audience, being what becomes the main attraction of an exhibition opening. Both the presentation of the artwork and the pieces themselves challenge the audience to perceive the artwork less casually.
